Running To Or From God

Most of us spend our lifetime running from God thinking He will punish us for our weakness. He is not the bad boogie man that is there to frighten us but to help us. This year I reached my seventies. I look forward to what is ahead of me and won’t dwell on what is behind me. I am running to God in faith and not running from Him in fear. I’ll continue to fear God. For the fear of God is the beginning of wisdom. I’ll fear Him enough to run to Him as I get older. I’ll run to Him for protection when life confronts me. God has allowed me to see seventy years of my life. I’ll wait on Him in faith and not fear. He is my protector and not that bad boogie man trying to punish me. God knows what is ahead. I’ll trust Him.
